LA FLOR DOMINICANA DOUBLE LIGERO 700 ECUADOR TORO
As the name suggests, it’s the Ligero tobacco that gives Double Ligero its fabulous taste. This is Ligero from the crop of 2000 and 2001, picked at the sixth priming, very close to the plant’s crown. As the lower primings are removed, the remaining leaves are provided with more of the plant’s nutrients, giving them increased flavor. While these leaves are thicker and require more time to cure and ferment, their flavor is unparalleled.
La Flor Dominicana Double Ligero cigars were introduced in 2003 using a powerful blend of Dominican longfiller and binder leaves finished in silky Ecuadorian wrappers that shimmer with a dark and oily patina.
